In 2020, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of Haven House, Macarthur Heights. A home proudly funded through Parkview’s donation to the Property Industry Foundation. This project also marked a significant milestone for PIF as the first house fully funded by a single donor.
Delivered in partnership with KARI Australia, a leading Indigenous foster care service, this home was created to provide a culturally supportive, safe, and stable environment for young Aboriginal people transitioning from out-of-home care to independent living.
Today, we reflect on the impact of that commitment:
- 49 young people supported since opening
- 8 young residents supported in FY2024 alone
This 6-bedroom home, the first PIF House built for KARI, provides a nurturing environment for five young people and a live-in carer.
We’re incredibly proud of the role we’ve played in this meaningful project, helping create not just a house, but a home where young people can feel safe, supported, and empowered to build their futures.
